Name: Law Revision Commission - RG 620
Sources: The Law Revision Commission was created by the General Assembly in 1975 to study state statutory law and to determine which laws were obsolete, outdated, or unnecessary and consequently should be repealed. It was composed of three Senate members appointed by the president pro tempore, three Senate members appointed by the minority leader, three House members appointed by the Speaker, and three House members appointed by the minority leader. It was to report to the General Assembly periodically (P.A. 79-662, p. 2077). The commission was abolished by the Legislative Commission Reorganization Act of 1984 (P.A. 83-1257, p. 1177).
